Fuzzy’s Mission
To bring comfort to as many hospitalized children between the ages of
birth to 18 throughout the USA by providing slippers through the
generosity of our donors. Fuzzy’s secondary goal is to provide
slippers to children in orphanages and homeless shelters throughout
the USA and abroad.

Fuzzy’s Founding
A close family friend, Michael, found it necessary to have heart
surgery. Michael is 15 years old. During visits to the hospital
Michael always seemed to be cold. Looking further, most of the
children in the hospital wore only socks, and many had bare feet.
Brittany had an idea to establish a program that would donate slippers
to ill children to ease their hospital stay. The foundations first
slipper deliveries were on Valentine’s day 2002 at Scottsdale Health
Care, the hospital where Brittany was born. Fuzzy Feet has given over
4,000 slippers away to sick children in Phoenix, Los Angeles and New York City.

Friends
After gaining national interest, founder Brittany Clifford launched
Fuzzy Feet Friends. Fuzzy Feet Friends is a nation program
designed for schools, businesses, families and other organizations
to become part of the Fuzzy family by participating in a Fuzzy Feet
donation in their community. Active already in 10 different
states, the Friends program donated over 2,000 slippers in 2003.

Fuzzy’s Future
Fuzzy Feet plans to distribute 10,000 slippers this year through the
foundation and the Fuzzy Feet Friends Program.
All communities have sick children in the hospitals or in homeless
shelters that are in need of this kind of assistance. At one time
hospitals provided slippers for children but with medical expenses on
the rise most have made necessary budget cuts and slippers are no
longer available.
Fuzzy Feet Foundation offers a program available to teachers, kids and
families to participate in their own Fuzzy Feet donation in their
community. The program involves kids in slipper donations and
deliveries to share the joy of being able to give meaningful
assistance to a special child going through a difficult time in their
life. Please visit the Friends page to
learn more on how you can become involved!
